The Elgato Stream Deck+ is a game-changing device for creators and streamers looking to take their content to the next level. One of the major selling points of the Stream Deck+ is its clever multi-input dials and touch bar. These new features offer creators a new level of flexibility and control over their streaming setup. The touch bar, for example, allows for easy scrolling and navigation through different pages, such as switching between scenes in OBS, controlling the playback of videos, or adjusting the audio levels, it is also a great way to access and control different software and applications, it can also be used as a shortcut for keybinds that you use frequently.

The dials, on the other hand, provide a more tactile way to adjust settings like audio levels, lighting, or camera settings. The dials are also highly customizable and can be programmed to adjust different settings depending on the context. For example, you could have one dial adjust the audio levels for your microphone, while another dial adjusts the levels for your background music. The dials are also clickable, allowing you to toggle between different settings with a single click.

The new tactile dials and touchscreen bar are incredibly useful new tools that really make the new Stream Deck + stand out

Another major plus of the Stream Deck+ is its integration with other Elgato apps. The ability to use the VoiceMod software in tandem with the Wave Link audio engine, for example, allows creators to easily manage their audio levels and add effects in real-time. This can greatly enhance the overall quality of the content and make it more engaging for viewers. With the Wave Link, you can control and adjust the levels of multiple audio sources, such as your microphone, game audio, and music, all from the same interface. Additionally, VoiceMod, allows you to add various vocal effects to your microphone, like Echo, Reverb, and Pitch, to name a few, this can make your voice sound more interesting, or help you to sound like your favorite character.

The Elgato Wave Link software works incredibly well, and is made even better by cool apps and add-ons, like VoiceMod!

The Stream Deck+ also boasts larger, sharper buttons than its predecessor. These buttons are 15% larger than the original Stream Deck's, making them easier to read and use. They also have a rubberized feel and a satisfying muted click, which adds to the overall user experience. Each button can also be customized with different icons, images, and text, making it easy to identify and quickly access the function you need.

The Stream Deck + has larger, easier to see buttons, as well as the awesome new dials and touchscreen bar.

One downside of the Stream Deck+ is its fixed position. Unlike previous models, it does not have a removable stand and is instead designed to sit in a fixed position. This can be limiting for some users and may not work well with all setups. Additionally, the Stream Deck+ carries a steep price point of $199.99/£209.99, making it a significant investment. However, for those who rely heavily on streaming and content creation, the Stream Deck+ is an excellent investment that can save a lot of time and effort in the long run.

The fixed position of the new Stream Deck + compared to the original Stream Deck.

In summary, the Elgato Stream Deck+ is a powerful device that offers a range of new features and possibilities for creators and streamers. Its multi-input dials, touch bar, and strong integration with other apps make it a valuable tool for managing live streams and other content. With its customizable buttons, easy-to-use software, and various modes of interaction, it provides a new level of flexibility and control over your streaming setup. However, its fixed position and high price point may not be suitable for all users. But for those who are looking to take their streaming to the next level, the Stream Deck+ is definitely worth considering.
